Labor Central Committee votes to stay in gov't

After a stormy session of the Labor Central Committee, the committee voted by a huge majority to stay in the government coalition. The vote came after impassioned speeches by both MK Pines and Defense Minister Amir Peretz. The vote was conducted in public, rather than by secret ballot as opponents of staying in the coalition had hoped.
