Senior officials in the Labor Party were examining the possibility that seven MKs - one-third of the party's Knesset faction - could get together to form a new faction, media reports indicated on Saturday evening. The move comes amidst much opposition within the party to chairman Amir Peretz's desire to choose the party's seven ministers himself.
