Kadima member MK Uriel Reichman reportedly resigned from politics on Sunday after Interim Prime Minister declined to appoint him to the Education Ministry. His office neither confirmed nor denied the report. Earlier in the day, Reichman abstained from the weekly government meeting. He claimed that former prime minister Ariel Sharon promised him the position before the Interdisciplinary Center president joined the newly formed Kadima party.
