Man arrested for allegedly stabbing wife

A Ma'aleh Adumim resident was arrested late Friday night after he allegedly stabbed his wife while drunk, wounding her lightly. The incident was reported by a taxi driver who had taken the women home and agreed to wait while she went inside to collect cab fare. After she failed to return following the altercation with her husband, he entered the couple's home and subsequently alerted authorities. The woman received medical treatment at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem.
