Matan Vilna'i turns down offer to become minister

Deputy Defense Minister Matan Vilna'i (Labor) turned down an offer made by Defense Minister Ehud Barak to become a minister without portfolio in charge of minorities. Vilnai's said he preferred to stay in his current position as deputy defense minister. The "minorities" dossier will now be offered to Labor MK Avishai Braverman, and if he turns it down too, it will be offered to MK Orit Noked.
