Mazuz recommends that Katsav suspend himself

Attorney General Menahem Mazuz submitted to the High Court of Justice on Sunday a recommendation that President Moshe Katsav should ask the Knesset to approve his recusion until the end of the legal proceedings currently underway against him. According to Mazuz, if Katsav were to continue his duties as president, it could hinder the investigation.
