Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz called on Prime Minister Ehud Olmert Tuesday to consult with Kadima faction members about negotiations with the Palestinians ahead of the US-sponsored Middle East meeting. In a letter Mofaz sent to faction members, he wrote: "It would be fitting to bring up for discussion our green and red lines and formulate a mandate that will be agreeable to everyone." However, Olmert is still convinced that "when there is a deal, everyone will follow," Army Radio reported.
