Mofaz to outlaw SMSing on the road

Minister of Transportation Shaul Mofaz urged ministry staff to push for new legislation that will forbid drivers to send and receive SMS text messages on their cellular phones. Mofaz also set up a commission of lawmakers and professionals to study the possibility of tripling the fine for talking on a cellular phone without a speakerphone while driving.
