A 31-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her husband who then committed
suicide in Petah Tikva early on Thursday.
The murder victim, Masletch
Anargaya, died of multiple stab wounds caused by her 43-year-old husband Avi,
police said. The couple had immigrated to Israel from Ethiopia in 2007. Police
had no prior records of domestic violence incidents on the

Neighbors called police to the apartment after hearing loud
Officers discovered the woman as she took her last breaths in
the living room, and Magen David Adom paramedics attempted to stem massive blood
loss. But Anargaya was declared dead by doctors on arrival to the Beilinson
Medical Center in Petah Tikva.
