Netanyahu: We'll stand behind new chief of staff

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert finished a meeting with opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu on Thursday as part of a series of meetings on who will succeed Lt.-Gen. Dan Halutz as IDF chief of General Staff. According to Army Radio, Netanyahu said during the meeting that "we will stand behind any chief of staff who's chosen. It's got to be done, and we need to take our time in order to carry out the process in best manner."
