Likud chairman Binyamin Netanyahu stressed Thursday evening that this was not the right time to deal with politics. He claimed that he made no attempt to call back to the Likud some of the MKs who left the party in favor of Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's Kadima Party. He stated his belief that by doing so he contributed to stabilizing the atmosphere. Netanyahu asked the press to likewise refrain from dealing with political battles between parties following Channel 2's questions regarding his political plans for the future. He stated that times of crisis make us stronger since they force us to work together.
