New police chief Dudi Cohen to be sworn in

The new Israel Police chief, Dudi Cohen, will be officially sworn in on Tuesday morning, Army Radio reported. The ceremony will take place at the Prime Minister's Office, where Cohen will be promoted to the rank of Insp.-Gen. Afterwards, Cohen will convene the senior police staff for the first time as police chief. Cohen, who formerly served as Central District police chief, is expected to start off his new job by deciding on a major reshuffle in the police ranks.
