No IDF casualties in Lebanese border clashes

IDF troops finished the search operation along the Israeli-Lebanon border, Army Radio reported on Wednesday night. Around 11 p.m. Wednesday clashes broke out between IDF troops and Lebanese soldiers. Lebanese troops opened fire with machine guns at IDF soldiers searching for bombs inside Israeli territory, and IDF troops returned fire with two tank rounds. According to UNIFIL reports the Lebanese army suffered five casualties in the incident. IDF troops returned to Israel unharmed.
