Olmert defends self-appointed members of war probe

"The members of the commission are very worthy figures. These are people with knowledge, ability, experience and understanding. I believe this opinion is shared with the public, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said on Wednesday in response to a question about the make-up of the governmental inquiry commission he established to probe the shortcomings of the war in Lebanon.
