Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Sunday praised the planned appointment of Israel Prisons Service Chief Warden Yaakov Ganot to replace Police Chief Insp.-Gen. Moshe Karadi as chief of the Israel Police. Olmert also telephoned Karadi and thanked him for his service. The prime minister expressed confidence that Ganot and his future deputy Cmdr.
