Olmert proposes Livni as new justice minister

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert submitted a proposal Wednesday to appoint Foreign Minster Tzipi Livni as the new justice minister. The proposal passed a cabinet vote early Wednesday afternoon and is due to be voted on in the Knesset later that day. Livni would serve as justice minister alongside her present role as foreign minister.
