Olmert visits IDF unit in charge of operating Arrow missile

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Tuesday visited the IDF unit in charge of operating the Arrow missile. Olmert was accompanied by Deputy Defense Minister Matan Vilnai, IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi and IAF chief Maj.-Gen. Elazar Shkedy. The Prime Minister's Office described the trip as a "routine visit." The Arrow is capable of intercepting long-range missiles, including those possessed by Iran and Syria.
