One killed, 12 injured in car accidents

A 65-year-old resident of Jisr a-Zarka was hit by a car and killed on Friday evening near Highway 4. According to initial reports, the hit-and-run driver fled into and then out of the village. Police were looking for eyewitnesses to the accident. In another accident near Horshim Junction on Highway 444, 12 people were injured in a three-car collision. MDA teams treated the victims at the scene.
