Open University teaching staff to hold open-ended strike starting Sunday

Open University teaching staff announced Friday that they would hold an open-ended strike starting Sunday to demand improved salaries and benefits. The Open University's management expressed bewilderment over the announcement, saying it was holding intensive and continuous talks with the academic staff in order to resolve the issue.
