Outstanding soldier abused for sexual orientation

An outstanding soldier in the Caracal Battalion reported that she became the victim of abuse by other soldiers in her unit after they discovered that she was a lesbian. The soldier's personal items were thrown out of her room and she was told that she "had no idea how much [they] hated her and wished she were dead." The military police were investigating the allegations, Israel Radio reported.
