PM sets up committee to handle illegal outposts

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert set up special committee of ministers to handle the issue of illegal settler outposts, it was reported on Saturday night. Olmert appointed Justice Minister Haim Ramon to head the committee, and he will be joined by Labor Party chairman Amir Peretz, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livi, Labor MK Yitzhak Herzog and Kadima MK Avi Dichter. The cabinet is set to approve the establishment of the committee on Sunday.
