Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Sunday evening that he had yet to decide whom he supported for the next IDF chief of staff, but vowed that the appointment would be carried out as soon as possible, Army Radio reported.
Olmert continued to meet with officials on the subject. He is expected to meet tomorrow with Defense Minister Amir Peretz, who made his decision on Sunday evening.
