Residents of the Ateret settlement in the Binyamin region tried to drive out Peace Now spokesman Yariv Openheimer while he was posted in their community during reserve duty, Israel radio reported on Monday evening. Openheimer complained to police after allegedly receiving harshly worded fliers from residents. The fliers claimed the Peace Now spokesman was spying on behalf of the Palestinian Fatah movement and told residents that he must be evacuated in any way possible.
