Peretz: Restraining IDF not necessarily helpful

Defense Minister Amir Peretz said on Sunday that it was uncertain whether preventing the IDF from operating against the ongoing Kassam rocket fire was actually "working to the benefit of moderates." Speaking at the weekly cabinet meeting, he added that it was "possible to work against those firing the rockets by setting parameters such as firing [only] at open areas" to avoid harming civilians.
