Peretz to meet left-wing activists on Tuesday

Defense Minister Amir Peretz on Tuesday is set to meet for the first time since taking office with leaders of the Palestinian-Israeli Peace NGO forum in Tel Aviv. Issues on the agenda for the Tel Aviv meeting include, a Palestinian unity government, negotiations with the Palestinians, border crossings and settlement construction. The Forum which was created last November includes 60 left wing organizations including: the Peres Center for Peace, Machsom Watch, Yesh Kin, B'Tselem, Physicians for Human Rights, The Bereaved Families Forum and the Interfaith Encounter Association.
