A terror attack was thwarted on Tuesday afternoon after military policemen arrested a Palestinian carrying two pipe bombs weighing a kilogram each at the Rihan Checkpoint near Jenin. The soldiers' suspicions were aroused by two Palestinians standing at the checkpoint. The troops searched the men and uncovered the pipe bombs, which one of the men had concealed under his clothing. The bombs were detonated in a controlled environment and the men were transferred to the Shin Bet for further interrogation.
