Police: 3 youths arrested for alleged robbery try

Tel Aviv District Police officers arrested three teenager suspected of attempting to rob a taxi driver near the Morasha junction early Saturday morning, police said in a statement. According to the statement, the three youths were traveling in the taxi when they turned on the driver, threatening him with a broken bottle and demanding money. When the driver refused, the youth ran from the vehicle. Police from the Glilot Station later apprehended all three youths in the course of searches in the area. They said the teenagers were between 17 and 18 years of age.
