A fifth of the evacuees from Gush Katif are still unemployed, a year and a half after disengagement plan took place. A survey published by the Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry on Sunday shows that only 47 percent of the evacuees have resumed working since the summer of 2005, in contrast to the 80% who had worked prior to being evacuated.
