Israel's larger bakeries, amongst them Angel and Berman stopped supplying Israeli grocery stores and supermarkets with subsidized bread Thursday morning following the government's decision to keep bread prices at their current level, Army Radio reported. Unsubsidized loaves are being supplied. Bakery owners are demanding that the government allow them to raise prices following a sharp rise in the price of wheat worldwide.
