Riots broke out on Thursday afternoon at the Arara junction on the Wadi Ara highway after police shot and wounded a village resident. During a search of the victim's house, he tried to flee from the police. They first fired their guns in the air, but then shot toward the suspect, critically wounding him. Large forces arrived and tried to calm the atmosphere and prevent the blocking of the street.
