Likud MK Silvan Shalom urged "immediate" UN sanctions against Iran on Sunday. Shalom, speaking at the 6th annual Herzliya Conference, said that the "international community finally understands the threat Iran posed." London, Madrid, and Paris, Shalom continued, were "all within Iranian missile range." The UN, he pressed, could work quickly and efficiently to neutralize the danger, or it could waste time. Shalom urged the UN to use all means at its disposal to address the Iran nuclear crisis.
