Shin Bet reports of increased smuggling into Gaza

A Shin Bet (Internal Security) annual report revealed that a large amount of ammunition has been smuggled into the Gaza Strip Since the disengagement. The ammunition included anti-aircraft missiles, hundreds of anti-tank rockets, thousands of assault rifles, a few tons of explosives. Still, a significant decline in the number of people killed in terrorist activity was reported during 2005, with 45 Israeli fatalities, compared to 117 during the previous year, Israel Radio reported.
