A 19-year-old IDF soldier, a resident of Haifa, was arrested on suspicion of being behind a series of recent robberies and break-ins throughout the city. The soldier was finally arrested after he was caught buying heroin, and during his interrogation by police tied himself to the robbery of a 74-year-old woman. During a search of the soldier's home, police found stolen property. Police were to ask Thursday morning that the soldier's remand be extended.
