Steinitz: Olmert's comments on Iran damage Israel

"[Prime Minister Ehud] Olmert is acting hastily… while causing damage to the state of Israel," MK Yuval Steinitz (Likud) said following the prime minister's reported comments Saturday that a short-term attack on Iran could prevent the country from completing its nuclear weapons agenda. The German Focus magazine quoted Olmert as saying "Iran's nuclear program can be thrown back by years in a ten day attack using thousands of Tomahawk cruise missiles."
