UTJ rabbis delay decision on joining coalition

Rabbis on the Torah Sages Council of the United Torah Judaism Party decided on Saturday night to delay their decision regarding joining Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's coalition until next week. Coalition negotiations between UTJ and Kadima took place on Thursday, but did not yield results. Army Radio reported that the negotiations were expected to continue next week, subject to the decisions of the rabbis.
