Yesha chairman won't run for council leadership

Bentzi Lieberman, chairman of the Council of Jewish Communities in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip (Yesha), announced Monday that he did not intend to compete in the upcoming elections for the council's leadership. In a letter to the heads of the organization, Lieberman said that although he would not run in the elections scheduled to take place in three months, he planned to remain head of the Samaria local council.
