Assad Shibli, the man who ran over nine-year-old Tal Zino on Yom Kippur, was charged with manslaughter, rather than murder, following the findings of the investigation against him, The Northern District Attorney's Office decided Tuesday. Last week's decision to investigate Shibli on suspicion of murder sparked an outrage in his village, where residents claimed that a Jewish driver would not have received the same treatment, Army Radio reported.
