Youth arrested after breaking into two houses

A 17-year-old Beersheba resident was arrested Tuesday after committing two consecutive burglaries. A woman noticed the young man trying to break into a nearby house and called the police emergency hotline. Beersheba police patrol units and investigators responded rapidly to the good Samaritan's call, preventing the suspect from breaking into a third house. The suspect has been detained for interrogation.
