Israeli model Esti Ginzburg tops the list of “50 hottest Jewish women” compiled by USbased online magazine, Complex, released in time for Hanukka.
The colorful list includes Hollywood actresses, stars of pornographic films, entertainers and models, with the 50 women connected to Judaism either by birth or conversion.

If she’s not, you’re not, and it doesn’t matter where your daddy prays. However, Reform Judaism allows for a child with a Jewish father who is brought up with Jewish qualities,” reads the introduction.
The list in the article included all sorts of Jewish beauties: Devout Jews, such as Natalie Portman, not-according-to- Hoyle Jews (e.g. those not keeping the prescribed rules or regulations), like Winona Ryder, converts such as Elizabeth Banks, the non-religious like Sarah Silverman and Israelis, such as Bar Refaeli.
“When hotness is the rule, we’ve got love for everyone,” the article continued.
Topping the list is Tel Aviv-born model Ginzburg, who has appeared in Sports Illustrated magazine for the past three years.
She is followed by Ukrainian- born Hollywood actress Mila Kunis, the daughter of Jewish parents, who has said in various interviews that she sees herself as “pretty Jewish,” actress Rashida Jones, the daughter of legendary soul producer Quincy Jones, and actress Peggy Lipton.
A-Listers are also represented: Gwyneth Paltrow, daughter of non-Jewish actress Blythe Danner and Russian Jewish father Bruce Paltrow, coming in at number 36, Kate Hudson, daughter of actress Goldie Hawn, at number 25 and Sarah Michelle Gellar at number 20.
Israeli women on the list included actress Portman, who was born in Jerusalem and studied at Hebrew University, coming in at number seven, world-famous model Bar Refaeli at number five, and actresses Moran Atias, Noa Tishby and Yael Bar- Zohar.
The article whimsically explains: “As a flame dancing atop a candle gives off heat, so do many of the Jewish women who’ve made their mark on pop culture over the years. No matter your faith or creed, after reading this list you’ll agree that the sexy ladies of the Tribe of Judah play second fiddler on the roof to none.”
Complex online magazine bills itself as the “premier online destination for the most influential twenty-something male consumers.”
