Two Palestinians were shot and killed by IDF soldiers during a raid on the Kalandiya refugee camp near Ramallah in the West Bank early on Monday, Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported.
The IDF stated that soldiers from the Kfir Brigade entered the camp in order to arrest two terror suspects when a violent riot broke out. Five soldiers were injured in the ensuing clashes. One soldier was evacuated to the hospital and four others were treated at the scene.

Ma'an quoted Palestinian eyewitnesses as saying the IDF clashed with
residents of the camp during an arrest raid, killing one man on the spot
and seriously wounding another, who later died of his wounds. An
additional man was injured in the raid, according to the report. Ma'an quoted witnesses as saying the IDF soldiers fired "indiscriminately" during the operation.
The IDF received the report of two Palestinians being killed during the operation and were checking the validity of the claims.

The man was wounded and evacuated by a Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance.
The IDF said that seven other people were arrested during the operation.
