A group of 62 senior executives from China arrived in Israel this week to
participate in an innovation workshop at the Technion-Israel Institute of

During the five-day visit, hosted by the Center for
Innovation at the Technion’s Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management,
the businessmen will attend lectures, tour Israeli companies and meet with
Chinese Ambassador Gao Yanping.
Israel Prize laureate Prof. Miriam Erez,
head of the Center for Innovation, explained that the workshop was designed for
“managers and presidents of mid-sized companies all over China, with a turnover
of $10 million.”
“These companies are looking for the added value of
technology, and their representatives have come to the workshop to learn the
secrets of Israeli innovation,” she said.
