Four more suspects were arrested by Dan subdistrict police Saturday night, in connection to the murder last month of a local teen found dead and partially burned in a drainage ditch in the city.
The suspects include a minor and three adults, aged 18 and 17. The minor will remain in jail for nine days and two of the adults for eight days. The fourth suspect will be released on Thursday unless his remand is again extended by the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court.
The Bnei Brak teen, who police said came from a Haredi family and built up a record of property and violent crimes, was reported missing by his parents two days before he was found by police late last month.
His body was badly burned and evidence found by police indicated that he was not alone at the time of his death, according to detectives.
It was one of three violent incidents to happen in the city in a single week, including the shooting and serious wounding of local criminal Yehuda Katlan and a shooting incident linked to a long-running feud between two families in the city.
