A 25-meter high advertisement alongside highway connecting Tel Aviv and Herzliya was partially damaged by fire.

A large billboard featuring Bar Refaeli which stands alongside a major highway between Tel Aviv and Herzliya was damaged by arsonists, the Herzliya fire department announced on Tuesday.

The 25-meter high sign, which shows Refaeli sporting clothes and gear for the apparel company Hoodies for which she is a paid pitchwoman, was partially damaged by fire. Firefighters who arrived on the scene at Glilot Junction also noticed graffiti. Vandals spray-painted a Star of David with the words “Am Yisrael Chai” (“The nation of Israel lives”) beside it.

Fire officials said this is the second time in the past few days in which assailants tried to set fire to the billboard. This past Saturday, vandals sought to burn the sign down, but to no avail. Police are investigating the matter.
