Presidential hopeful MK Meir Sheetrit disclosed information about his financial assets at a Hatnua faction meeting on Monday.
Sheetrit said that throughout his years in public service he reported his financial income as required by law, adding that he decided to publicly reveal a list of his properties because he understood the public interest.
The list of assets include a house in Yavne worth NIS 2-3 million; an apartment in the port city of Eilat (worth NIS 900,000); and two additional apartments in the coastal cities, Ashkelon and Ashdod.
As for his income, Sheetrit receives an additional NIS 3,000 to his Knesset salary each month, since he is a former minister.
"Since I made Aliya from Morocco," he said at the closing of the meeting, "everything I earned was through hard work. I am clean."
