Two Filipino UN peacekeepers injured in Syria fighting brought to Israeli hospital

Ziv Medical Center in Safed received on Sunday two Filipino UN peacekeepers who were injured in Syria after a mortar shell exploded next to their vehicle.

One of the peacekeepers sustained a shrapnel injury to his jaw and the other suffered bruising. Both were defined as lightly injured.
