A trio of distinguished New York comedians brought an assortment of laughs to the front lines of the Gaza conflict last week to liven the spirits of IDF soldiers and provide some much needed comic relief.The group consisted of Ari Teman, Danny Cohen and Benji Lovitt, and was able to perform at an Iron Dome missile battery site thanks to the Young Leadership division of the New York Tri-State chapter of Friends of the IDF.“It was an emotional experience, meeting these awesome, dedicated, life-saving people,” said Teman. “We came in afraid, unsure how we’d do a show in the middle of a secluded base [in front of] a bunch of native Hebrew speakers, and we all walked away speechless, moved, convinced it was one of the best comedy experiences of our lives.”The group have been performing around the country as part of the Rocket Shelter Comedy tour, with the catchphrase, “Stuck in a bomb shelter?
