Roland Garros: Pe'er stuns sixth seed Dementieva

Rising Israeli tennis star Shahar Pe'er, 19, advanced to the fourth round of the prestigious Roland Garros French Open tournament in Paris on Saturday, stunning the sixth seeded Elena Dementieva from Russia 6-4, 7-5. Pe'er, ranked 31 in the tournament and 26th in the world, will face Switzerland's Martina Hingis in the next round of the Grand Slam tournament. Pe'er, however, was the only Israeli in France to enjoy success. Israel's top doubles tandem of Yoni Erlich and Andy Ram, seeded fifth, were upset Saturday 4-6, 6-7 (3-7 tiebraker), by the Swiss duo of Alegro and Vabrinca. Harel Levy was ousted as well, from the men's doubles tournament.
