Bema’aglei Tzedek is a social justice organization that engages young Israelis to become involved in bringing about social change with a focus on employee rights, handicap accessibility and social action campaigns. Its flagship Tav Chevrati isa seal of approval granted free of charge to restaurants and otherbusinesses that respect the legally mandated rights of their employeesand are accessible to people with disabilities.The Shai Society’s Beit Galgalim is a volunteer organization thatpromotes the rehabilitation and support of disabled children andgraduates. The four centers in Israel are devoted to the developmentand integration of physically disabled children. They also give thefamilies a brief respite during the time that the children are underthe direct responsibility of the organization.
