This special display inaugurates a street gallery in an alley of Old Jaffa, where a permanent public display of light boxes is to be featured all year long. The 60 best works from Israeli art schools will be featured at the outdoor art gallery until October 31, after which the artworks will be changed periodically.The exhibition takes place on Mazal Dagim and Mazal Arieh streets in the Old City of Jaffa. The “Between the Sacred and the Profane” exhibition is a breakthrough into the secular Israeli art scene and is a revolutionary step for haredi artists in Israel whose work is inspired by Jewish customs and prayer.
