Abbas goes to Jordan to discuss diplomatic tension

Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas was leaving for Jordan on Friday morning to discuss diplomatic tensions between the PA and the Hashemite Kingdom. After meeting with Jordanian officials, he was scheduled to continue to Turkey and to other countries in Europe. Earlier, Jordan announced that it had stopped Hamas members from smuggling arms, including missiles, into their territory, Israel Radio reported.
